The agreement, signed on November 19, 2024 by SECI’s Director (Solar), Sanjay Sharma, and H2Global’s Executive Director, Dr Susana Moreira, aims to bolster knowledge exchange on market mechanisms and foster cooperation between India and hydrogen-importing nations.
This partnership seeks to develop joint tendering frameworks, aligning with India’s goal of becoming a Green Hydrogen export hub. The collaboration also explores trade logistics, stakeholder engagement, and global hydrogen market dynamics to advance India’s hydrogen economy.
Present at the signing were officials including Prashant Kumar Singh, Secretary (MNRE), and Markus Exenberger, Executive Director of the H2 Global Foundation, among others.
The initiative represents a step forward in India’s ambition to lead in renewable energy, leveraging international expertise to support its Green Hydrogen mission.
