New Delhi: Reliance Retail has signed the Consumer Safety Pledge in collaboration with the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, reaffirming its commitment to consumer safety. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Union Minister of Consumer Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi and other senior officials, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

I also appreciate the commitment of all those e-commerce companies that have signed the pledge for creating a safer ecosystem for consumers. Let’s work together towards a future where every consumer has access to safe and reliable products”, B L Verma, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution commented.
Reliance Retail highlighted its efforts to integrate technologies such as AI-enabled monitoring to detect and eliminate unsafe products across its platforms. The company also pledged to actively engage with the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) and enforcement agencies to address safety concerns promptly.
