In a big relief on the New Year, the oil companies have reduced the rate of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder. The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder was cut by ₹14.5 on Wednesday (January 1).

The LPG cylinder will cost ₹1,804 in Delhi, ₹1,756 per 19-kg cylinder in Mumbai, ₹1,911 in Kolkata and ₹1,966 in Chennai.
Apart from demand-supply dynamics, commercial LPG prices are driven by various factors such as international prices, and taxation policies.
The latest cut comes after five straight monthly hikes in commercial LPG prices. On December 1, rates were hiked by Rs 16.5 per 19-kg cylinder.
The price of 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged.
Also, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) was cut by ₹1401.37 per kl with effect from today. It will cost ₹90,455.47 per kl in Delhi.
